Full job description

We are offering a unique opportunity to join a fully remote cloud accounting practice in the UK. You will be able to work from anywhere in this role. Our management team is based between London & Dubai.

We are looking for an Accountant (CIMA / AAT part qualified) to work closely with our startup and small business clients in a manager role in our growing team. You will be managing a portfolio of 25 clients and performing bookkeeping, VAT returns, reviewing payroll, preparing year end accounts and preparing personal tax returns and reviewing Xero accounts P&L and Balance Sheets.

You must have:

  • UK Accountancy qualification

  • 5+ years post qualification experience

  • Xero certification & Dext experience

Experience of:

  • Financial Forecasting

  • Working in practice

  • Managing a team

  • Bookkeeping

  • Preparing Personal Tax Returns

  • Preparing Year End Accounts

  • Preparing Mangement Accounts

  • Submitting VAT Returns

  • Reviewing payroll journals

The role will be also be client facing, you will liaise with our clients on a daily basis through Slack and video calls. Experience using Xero, Dext, Clear Books, Taxfiler, Slack and managing a team are all necessary.
